Dr. Michael Curry and his wife Embry have 4 children, Will, Ella, and twin boys Ben and Scott. The Curry family enjoys spending time at Beaver Lake and the family farm in Atkins, Arkansas.
Dr. Curry is a licensed Periodontist by the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners. He has been an active member with the American Academy of Periodontology since 2002. He serves as the Arkansas state liaison for the American Academy of Periodontology. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Arkansas State Dental Association.
Dr. Curry is currently the President of the Northwest District Dental Society of Arkansas; President of the American Academy of Interdisciplinary Therapy, Northwest Arkansas chapter; and President of the Fort Smith Dental Association.
Dr. Curry graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelors of Science degree in Microbiology. He received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry where he graduated in the top of his class with honors. Dr. Curry received his Certificate of Advanced Periodontics at the West Los Angeles Veterans Hospital – UCLA, where he served as Chief Resident of the program. He received the Academic Excellence Award from the Western Society of Periodontists and was a finalist for the California Society of Periodontists Leadership Award.
Dr. Curry specializes in dental implant therapy, bone regeneration in preparation for dental implants, soft tissue grafting around teeth and dental implants, surgically facilitated orthodontics, and the treatment of periodontal disease.
Dr. Curry believes that maintaining good oral health is an integral part of maintaining overall health. He works with dentists in the area as their partner in achieving oral health and providing natural feeling and natural looking dental implants.
